Its not what we had expected. Thought more of Rehab when in fact its a "work center" meaning they have different rules within the facility and different rules to apply when you outside. They require you to work and are great in helping you out from the job itself to the transportation too. The only bad & discouraging fault is they have you work and they keep ALL YOUR MONEY LESS 5%!?!? Yep no extra $ to pay your fines & cost which is a huge part of your future. All in all of give this place a 3 out of 5 because they don't specifically work with underlying issues that need immediate attention such as triggers, the reason an individual may use etc.

I am a firm believer,this program showed me how to deal(cope)with my triggers.Lifes lessons are so valuable.I still want to thank You FIRSTSTEP and all the dorm moms,the women that went through my struggles with Me. Adddiction is real...I completed the 9 and a half program,before things changed.The end is the gratifying,moment.then comes the hardest part,leaving the safe place.Truth is u will get out what u put in,the program,your program.so good luck to all u woman, learn to love yourself again.I won my battle.KRISTINA DAVIS,SENDING A REMEMBRANCE LETTER.

It works if you want it to! I spent 11 months at first step in 2003. I went in a spoiled witch but was quickly humbled, This place saved my life! Here it is 2016 and I'm still clean! If you need a place to get clean and sober, this is the place!

Hey Jared, seems to me that if they had backed over your vehicle you would have waited for the police unless of course you were the one drugged up and maybe even had a little something you didn't want them to find. Makes no sense you leaving otherwise. You say you had to get up early well I know it couldn't have been to late because the director there is a very nice and kind lady. And her vans don't stay out late. Now come on,,,,you know what you are saying is not true!!!!
